So this week has been another crazy one with all the publicity were getting from the release of the single we recorded for the Euros and the Irish street leagues charity to send the homeless team to the homeless football world Cup in Glasgow in a couple of months!… We also were rehearsing for both our upcoming album and the festival in Poyenberg, Germany and the Taste of Dublin festival next week!
On Friday we traveled from Dublin to Hamburg in Germany where we were picked up by an amazing luxury bus and brought to our apartment in Poyenberg and then on to the festival grounds. Amazing place!. Beautiful country side and lots of farms everywhere! I even stopped off at a Neighbouring farm to pet some calves ????. We had a BBQ Friday night cooked, by myself, of burgers and bratwurst which were amazing!.. Saturday was gig day and we had our sound check at around 2.30 pm and our gig was starting at 7.45 pm..
Before going to Poyenberg I thought they were expecting 5000 spectators but, once there I found out it was sold out in an hour with well over 8000 people!.. The atmosphere was electric!. We played to that many people and they loved us!
We went down a storm!..
Brought the house down!…???? To get a crowd of nearly 10000 people screaming back at us was amazing!.. I loved every minute of it… we stayed around until 12am selling CD’s and taking pictures with fans it was a fantastic event!.
Then it was home time as we had an early start the next morning for our flight back to Dublin!..CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!! Next on the cards is lots of rehearsing this week for the upcoming Taste of Dublin Festival next weekend and I’m really looking forward to that!.. We also have many radio interviews to do this week because of the release of our Euro 2016 song!…So busy times ahead!… anyway that’s all from me for this week folks until next week over and out ????-J
